High Fashion – Bespoke Projects in Cantù Lace
Marelli Pizzi: We design and create exclusive pieces for haute couture, collaborating with designers, ateliers, and fashion houses that wish to integrate the refinement of Cantù Lace—one of the world’s most prestigious forms of bobbin lace—into their collections.
Our role is to bring each client’s vision to life, developing every piece using the most suitable technique: traditional stitches, floral motifs, contemporary geometries, or entirely bespoke
designs.
Each creation is made entirely by hand, stitch by stitch—a process that demands time, precision, and rare mastery.
For this reason, we cannot accommodate requests requiring large quantities or fast turnaround times: true craftsmanship takes time, and it is precisely this that gives it value.
Over the years we have created couture bras, men’s jackets, bags, accessories, and tailored details for both Italian and international designers. Every time haute couture meets Cantù Lace, a unique collaboration is born—one that we are deeply honored to cultivate.

A men’s jacket entirely covered in handmade Cantù Lace, featuring interwoven fan motifs and traditional rosettes.
The lace is applied over an elegant tailored cut, enriched with contrasting black peak lapels and clean edge finishes that highlight the delicacy of the pattern.
This garment blends Lombard artisanal tradition with contemporary aesthetics, transforming lace into a masculine, sophisticated, and strikingly modern statement piece.
Description of the Couture Bra (Image 2)
A high-fashion bra enhanced with authentic Cantù Lace inserts used as refined decorative edging that outlines and elevates the silhouette.
The contrast between the bold colors of the silk (yellow, fuchsia, etc.) and the delicate bobbin lace creates a sophisticated, modern effect.

Description of the Couture Bra (Image 3)
The haute couture dress features a bodice crafted in gold bobbin lace, a precious design inspired by the classic Florentine lily. The lace is made using the bisetta technique, much denser than what appears in the photo, and stands out beautifully against a midnight-blue background, creating a rich and sophisticated contrast.
